Reasons why Michigan should top USC in the BCS

• They defeated Notre Dame on the road by 26 points; USC won by 20 points at home.
• Michigan lost to #1 Ohio State, by three points in Columbus. In that game, the field conditions were horrible, and the team suffered because of it. The officials made a game-changing call in favor of Ohio State in the fourth quarter that sealed the deal.
• USC lost to unranked Oregon State.
• Nobody wants to see Michigan rematch Notre Dame in the Rose Bowl.

Reasons why USC should top Michigan in the BCS

• Their schedule includes more teams eligible for a bowl game.
• They haven’t played Ohio State yet.

The sports analysts claim that USC will jump Michigan today in the BCS, which I agree will probably happen. Clearly, college football needs a playoff system. Why not have Michigan play USC for the right to play in the championship?
