So long, Feedburner

I prevsiouly used the Feedburner feed hosting service for my journal, but I decided today that for the sake of simplicity, I am going to directly link to the raw files on my site. If you are using the Feedburner URL to view my RSS feed, you will have to update within the next 30 days. Hopefully your feedreader will update the URL automatically, but not all of them do. The permanent URL of my RSS feed is now /index.xml. This will not change, ever.

Feedburner has some cool features, like feed splicing and visitor tracking, but in the end, I don’t want to rely on a free service to host my content. That’s why I pay Dreamhost! Reliable uptime!
